Configuration

The configuration of Gridella is done via the preferences screen (click the File | Preferences menu to go there). The preferences are divided in four topics:

P-Grid

Bootstrap host(s)

Maximum amount of fidget peers

Maximum amount of references per level stored in the routing table

Maximum amount of exchanges initiated recursively during an exchange

Additional random searches performed for each search

Exchange rate (the minimum period before a new exchange is initiated)

Balancing replication load

Network

Network address of the local peer

Connection speed of the local peer

Is the local host behind a firewall

Resolve IP addresses to host names

Compression level for outgoing messages

Download / Upload

Maximum upload bandwidth per upload

Temporary directory for downloads

Library

Shared directories

Include sub folders of shared folders

Shared file-extensions

Share all file-extensions
